If you live out west Auckland you must go and try The Wardroom Cafe & Kitchen, located at 7 Totara Avenue, New Lynn.
Everything is made fresh onsite by chef Nicola Donald. Nicola also does catering for events, and shortly will be starting frozen meal takeaways.

When Brad and Delwyn approached me to create their Daily Organic website they spoke about the other web companies they had previously met with. I must say some of the companies were large, big corporates that had a name for themselves. What they found though, was no-one shared their vision, they new exactly what they wanted their website to look like, but the powers of be were not listening.
I said, I'll see what I can do, listened to what they were wanting, didn't promise the earth and went away and did it. All for under $1,000 when some companies had quoted $5,000 and above.
Take a look and see what you think http://www.dailyorganics.com/
They wanted their site to be a reflection of their product, beautiful images, simple and clean.
I love creating new flyers for The Clothing Collective, such a great cause and an awesome little shop to visit in Birkenhead.
Just because you have a website doesn't mean your stuck with it. Look at your current hosting and when it is due to expire.
Weebly host their own websites, so all you need is a domain, that we can connect the new weebly website too. The good thing about this is there is no down time, while we are designing your new site, you have the old one live, and when the new one is ready we just change them over.
I have just updated the School of Martial Arts website to a weebly one. Now they can easily update it themselves, they don't have to pay anyone to do it for them, it is all under their control.
Weddings are such a fun event, and the question everyone asks... are kids invited?
Well now, you can have the best of both worlds, having the kids looking pretty and handsome, photographs capturing a family occasion. Best of all the adults still have time out to enjoy themselves.
How? you say, well visit the event childcare company. They take care of everything, activities, toys, furniture - even a lovely picket fence to keep the younger ones from roaming. I wish this company was around when I had my wedding! Checkout their website http://www.eventchildcare.nz/ designed by me of course!
I have been busy this week making gift vouchers for some of my clients. So if you get stuck with any presents, buy a voucher and let the person have fun choosing their own gift!
The night before the attacks on Paris, I was awoken by my child at 4am who was feeling sick. As I was in the kitchen getting medicine, I looked out at the sky, the night was still, the sky dark, no clouds, and stars just sparkled back at me. It was beautiful.
I thought to myself then, when will everyone realise, we share the same sky, we live on the same planet, nobody has the right to say this is my country, this is my land, and to kill for their own cause. Stop the violence and live as one.
I love working with Trish & Dave Jenkins and seeing all the new goodies that they bring back from France for us to enjoy.
Social media, everyone is talking about it, how do you know what you should be on, do you need to twitter, facebook, pinterest, instagram... when do you have time to do any work?
It can be mind boggling, I think you need to look at your business and your market, for instance if your product is visual, then pinterest, facebook, instagram can be great. For example my good friends at Back to the Wall are having a lot of success with pinterest. Having such a visual, designer product has led to many overseas enquiries from customers who have seen their murals on pinterest and then have been repinned, again and again.
Or sometimes it makes sense to stop the guess work, and to contact a professional. I was introduced to Tom from Houdini Search Marketing the other day, so if you need some help with adwords, copywriting, social media. Look him up.
