My name is Susan. I started out as a trainee photolithographer, that was in the day when graphics companies had one computer system, which was about the size of a TV. 

After 6 years of layout design, I moved into a production / design manager role at Anne Geddes. Where I got to travel, do things out of my comfort zone and meet great people. Working surrounded by baby photographs eventually rubbed off on me and I left to have my own children.

I started Underdog design in 2014, I enjoy helping small businesses with their promotional material and websites.

I love working without having someone looking over my shoulder, taking my time to ensure the design is the best it can be.

I have little desire to work with advertising agencies or big corporates, the small guy, the underdog is my thing.
